On August 13, my late father's birthday, I launched a new section of my Nordic Link Substack — Galerie Constance — where I will share Harald Sandberg’s art, relevant photos and material that can highlight his work. My father was born 1912 in Söderhamn in northern Sweden. He was struck by a double-dided pneumonia (probably the Spanish Flu) when he was five years old and was told that would not live until 10 but he overcame his destiny and became an artist and painter. He died of a heart attack on August 26, 1983. He was 71.
